Chris Poulos is an American educator and politician from Connecticut. A Democrat, he represents the 81st District in the Connecticut House of Representatives and has served since January 4, 2023, after being elected in 2022 by one vote. He was re-elected in 2024 by a larger margin. Poulos lives in Southington, Connecticut. He earned a BA from the University of Richmond, an M.Ed. from Columbia University, and studied at the University of Connecticut (SYC). He teaches Spanish at Joel Barlow High School in Redding. He was named Connecticut Teacher of the Year in 2007.
