Churchill United Soccer Club, known as the Rams, is based in Churchill, Victoria. Founded in 1969, they play at Hazelwood South Reserve (capacity 500) and wear red and grey. They compete in the Latrobe Valley Soccer League (LVSL) and, as of 2025, sit 6th of 9.

The club began at Gaskin Park and moved to Hazelwood South Reserve in 1972, helping it grow. Churchill won its first major trophy in 1998 (Battle of Britain Cup). The 2000s were a golden era: five LVSL league titles (2007, 2008, 2009, 2012, 2014) and five Battle of Britain Cups (2005–2013). In 2012 they achieved a "triple treble"—men’s, women’s and youth grand finals plus all league and cup championships, nine trophies in total. In 2013 they completed the LVSL Grand Slam (men’s and women’s LVSL titles, Battle of Britain Cup and Browne-Huizer Cup); Sale United later matched the Grand Slam in 2022, but Churchill remains the only club to win each trophy at least three times.

2013 saw Mollie Emond become the national top scorer with 67 goals. The club’s women’s side was also dominant, winning LVSL titles in 2011, 2012 and 2013, and the Browne-Huizer Cup from 2010–2013. In 2014 Churchill went undefeated in the LVSL but lost in the finals; in 2015 they won 17–0 over Morwell Pegasus, a record LVSL result. The Rams’ rise spurred a rivalry with Fortuna 60.

Churchill celebrated its 50th anniversary in 2019 and has produced players such as Stephanie Tanti, who played for Melbourne Victory and excelled in futsal. The club’s colours are red and grey, echoing Liverpool’s 1980s kit, and Hazelwood South Reserve remains a premier LVSL venue after upgrades.
