Saint-André-Farivillers
Saint-André-Farivillers is a commune in the Oise department in northern France, in the Hauts-de-France region. It covers about 111 square kilometers and has around 514 residents (2023). The area is rural and flat, made up of four small hamlets.
The village’s main landmark is Saint-André Church, a 16th-century building located in the plain at the junction of the four hamlets. The choir is Renaissance (built in 1555) and the Gothic nave is lower. The church has been a protected historic monument since 1992. Inside, it features a window from 1572, a bell from 1693, and an 18th-century altar. Three stained-glass windows that were damaged by hail were restored in 2016.
The mayor for 2020–2026 is Hervé Commelin. Saint-André-Farivillers is in the Clermont arrondissement and the Saint-Just-en-Chaussée canton. The postal code is 60480.
