Chris Koclanes
Chris Koclanes is an American basketball coach. He was born in Pelham, New York, and attended Old Dominion. He began his coaching career as director of operations for William & Mary’s women’s basketball team. From 2013 to 2015 he was a video coordinator for Saint Joseph’s, then joined USC as a video coordinator in 2015 until 2019. In 2016 he joined the Connecticut Sun as a video coordinator and was promoted to assistant coach and defensive coordinator from 2019 to 2022. In 2023 he followed Curt Miller to the Los Angeles Sparks, serving as defensive coordinator. Later in 2023 he returned to USC as an assistant coach. On December 23, 2024, he was named head coach of the Dallas Wings, reuniting with Miller, who was the Wings’ general manager. He was relieved of his duties on September 30, 2025.
