Charles Rice (rugby league)
Charles Campbell Rice (27 August 1907 – 20 July 1993) was an Australian rugby league footballer who played in the 1930s. Born in Adelaide, he spent six seasons in first grade with St. George, from 1932 to 1937, appearing in 54 games and scoring 15 points. A big, strong lock forward or second-row, Rice was a crowd favourite at the club. He finished his playing career with Grenfell, New South Wales in 1938. Rice died on 20 July 1993 at the age of 85.
