Mukkam Post Devach Ghar
Mukkam Post Devach Ghar (Destination: God’s Home) is a 2025 Marathi-language drama film directed and co-written by Sanket Mane. The film stars child actor Myra Vaikul in the lead, with Spruha Parab, Mangesh Desai, Kalyani Mulye, Usha Nadkarni, Savita Malpekar and Prathamesh Parab in supporting roles. The story follows Jija, a young village girl who sets out on a heartfelt mission to send a letter to "God's Home." Her journey blends humor and emotion, bringing her family and the community closer together.
Produced by Maahesh Kumar Jaiswal and Kirti Jaiswal, the film is a collaboration under Keemaya Productions, Vadapav Films, and ACDCAT. It released on 31 January 2025. The project was announced on 19 December 2024 with a poster unveiled at Siddhivinayak Temple in Mumbai. The first song, featuring Myra Vaikul and Spruha Parab, released on 10 January 2025. The teaser came out on 6 January 2025, and the trailer on 17 January 2025, unveiled in the presence of actor-director Sachin Pilgaonkar.
Critics gave positive reviews for the film’s emotional storytelling and Vaikul’s performance, as well as its sensitive take on grief from a child’s perspective. Some pointed out that the pacing can feel slow. Chaitrali Joshi (Maharashtra Times) called it a touching and heartfelt narrative; Santosh Bhigarde (Sakal) described it as a sensitive and moving tale; Reshma Raikwar (Loksatta) praised the unique premise and Vaikul’s acting but suggested tighter editing.
