Chamaita trichopteroides is a small moth in the Erebidae family. It lives in Sumatra and Borneo, in lower montane and lowland forests. The wingspan is about 23 mm. The forewings are transparent with light brownish-yellow markings, and the hindwings are transparent white. The species was first described by Walker in 1862, and it has also been named Chamaita chrysopides by van Eecke in 1926.
