Abel Rodrigues

Abel Joseph Rodrigues Jr. (January 16, 1922 – July 17, 2010) was an American professional basketball guard. Born in San Jose, California, he was 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighed 182 pounds. He went to San Jose High School and Hartnell College (1941–1942). In 1947 he played eight games for the Oshkosh All-Stars in the National Basketball League, averaging 1.1 points per game. He also played for the St. Paul Saints (1947–1948) and the Portland Indians (1948). Rodrigues died in Saratoga, California, at age 88.
