Steven Nelson, nicknamed So Cold, is an American professional boxer born on June 4, 1988. He fights in the super middleweight and light heavyweight divisions as an orthodox boxer. He is 5 ft 10 in tall with a reach of 75+1/2 in. His pro record stands at 22 fights: 20 wins (16 by knockout) and 2 losses. He has held the WBO-NABO super middleweight title since January 2020.

Nelson made his pro debut on March 19, 2016, winning by first-round knockout against Billy Colon in Houston. After starting 15-0 with 12 knockouts, he fought Cem Kilic for the vacant WBO-NABO super middleweight title on January 11, 2020 in Atlantic City. Nelson won by an eighth-round TKO when Kilic’s trainer, Buddy McGirt, climbed into the ring to urge the referee to stop the fight. The stoppage came at 1:44 of the eighth round, with Nelson ahead 70-63 on all scorecards.
