Cecily Ann Rosol (born 2 January 1975) is an Australian politician with the Tasmanian Greens. She represents Bass in the Tasmanian House of Assembly, after being elected in 2024 and re-elected in 2025. Before entering politics, Rosol ran a counselling business called Thrive Launceston and worked as a registered nurse. She holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in Nursing from the University of Newcastle and a Graduate Diploma of Counselling from the University of New England. Rosol had unsuccessfully run for Greens seats in several elections before 2024. When Tasmania’s House was expanded to 35 seats for the 2024 election, she won the Greens’ 5th seat in Bass, marking a 2.8% swing toward Greens in the electorate; Bass had not had Greens representation since Andrea Dawkins in 2018.
