Emory Williams (American football)
Emory Williams is an American college football quarterback who plays for the East Carolina Pirates. He is 6 feet 5 inches tall and weighs 220 pounds. He grew up in Milton, Florida, and attended Milton High School.
In high school, Williams put up strong numbers:
- As a junior: 63% completions, 2,168 passing yards, 16 touchdowns, 3 interceptions, and four rushing touchdowns.
- As a senior: 2,049 passing yards, 21 touchdowns, 4 interceptions on 161 of 257 attempts.
He committed to the University of Miami. In 2023, Williams started the season as the Hurricanes’ third-string quarterback. He made his college debut in the opener against Miami (Ohio), completing all three passes for 42 yards. In Week 3 vs. Bethune-Cookman, he went 9-for-11 for 102 yards and moved into the backup role. He was the starter in Week 8 against Clemson after Tyler Van Dyke was injured, finishing 24-for-33 for 151 yards and a touchdown with one interception in a 28-20 double-overtime win.
Williams later transferred to East Carolina, where he is a sophomore for the 2026 season.
