Ravi Venkatesan
Ravi Venkatesan is an Indian business leader and investor. He has led major companies, including Microsoft India (2004–2011), Infosys as co-chairman of the board (2011–2018), and Bank of Baroda as chairman of the board (2015–2018). Earlier, he was chairman of Cummins India (1996–2004). Today he is a venture partner at Capria Ventures and has worked with Unitus Ventures.
He also serves as UNICEF Special Representative for Young People and Innovation and founded the Global Alliance for Mass Entrepreneurship. He started Social Ventures Partners India and advises early-stage tech startups with Arkam Ventures. He was part of India's MSME task force to support small businesses during COVID-19.
Venkatesan is the author of Conquering the Chaos: Win in India, Win Everywhere and writes columns for The Economic Times and Outlook. He is married to Sonali Kulkarni.
