Kovrovsky District
Kovrovsky District is one of sixteen administrative and municipal districts in Vladimir Oblast, Russia. It lies in the northern part of the oblast and covers 1,817 square kilometers. The administrative center is the city of Kovrov, which is not part of the district administratively; Kovrov is a separate entity with the status equal to that of the districts. The district has a population of 31,477 (2010 census) and 30,174 (2021 census). It includes 1 urban-type settlement and 171 rural localities. As a municipality, it is incorporated as Kovrovsky Municipal District, with 1 urban settlement and 4 rural settlements. The time zone is UTC+3 (MSK). The City of Kovrov is incorporated separately as Kovrov Urban Okrug.
