Stachys manantlanensis is a plant found only in Jalisco, Mexico. It grows in the mountains of the Rincón de Manantlán, west of Guadalajara, at elevations around 1,900 to 2,200 meters.

It is a small, wiry herb up to about 40 cm tall, with some side branches that root where they touch the ground. The leaves are oval and can reach 10 cm in length. Flowers appear in small groups of 2 to 6 in the upper leaf axils, and are bright magenta to lilac, about 20 mm long.
