CTV Nature Channel is a Canadian specialty TV channel that airs science, nature, and history programs. It is owned by CTV Specialty Television, a joint venture between Bell Media and ESPN Inc.

History:
- August 15, 2001: Launched as Discovery Civilization Channel Canada, a Canadian version of Discovery focusing on history and world cultures.
- September 27, 2010: Rebranded as Discovery Science, aligning with the U.S. Science Channel.
- January 1, 2025: Rebranded as CTV Nature Channel after Bell Media lost the Canadian rights to Warner Bros. Discovery’s factual and lifestyle brands to Rogers Sports & Media. An HD simulcast of the channel had previously launched in 2011.

Licensing and aim:
The channel was licensed by the CRTC on December 14, 2000 as Discovery Civilization Channel Canada. It was originally described as a service dedicated to showing the diverse cultures of the world and exploring human development.
