CSI: Miami — Season 10

CSI: Miami’s tenth and final season aired on CBS from September 25, 2011 to April 8, 2012, with 19 episodes—the shortest season of the show. The main cast includes David Caruso, Emily Procter, Jonathan Togo, Rex Linn, Eva LaRue, Omar Miller, and Adam Rodriguez.

Plot: Horatio Caine recovers from a gunshot wound, while Natalia Boa Vista heals from a near-death experience. Calleigh Duquesne tries to adopt two children. Delko and Wolfe mentor a new CSI, Sam Owens, a job that puts Wolfe at risk. The season features a range of killers and cases, including a sadistic killer, a Mexican sheriff, an eccentric genius, and a rabid dog.

Production notes: All main cast members returned. Eva LaRue planned to depart after this season. Adam Rodriguez wrote and produced the episode "At Risk," inspired by the Penn State scandal.

finale and cancellation: The series finale aired on April 8, 2012, but was delayed by Masters coverage. In May 2012 CBS canceled CSI: Miami, making it the first CSI franchise show to end.
