CFDM-FM
CFDM-FM (105.7 FM) is a community radio station in Meadow Lake, Saskatchewan, serving the Flying Dust First Nation and the nearby town. It broadcasts in English and Cree and is owned by FDB Broadcasting Incorporated.
Technical details: Class LP, 47 watts, vertical polarization, HAAT 22.4 metres.
Programming: Began in the mid-1990s as a short weekday broadcast (about 1–2 hours) on 105.7, a frequency formerly used by CJLR-FM. It has since expanded to a full weekday schedule with live broadcasts from 7:00 am to 6:00 pm and currently employs 4 people.
Note: The CFDM-FM call sign was previously used by an unrelated station in Drummondville, Quebec (104.3 FM, 1970–1976).
