Rudolf von Neuenburg
Rudolph II, Count of Neuchâtel (c. 1150–30 August 1196), also known as Rudolf of Fenis or Rudolf von Neuenburg, was a Swiss minnesinger (medieval poet-musician) in the 12th century. He died before 30 August 1196. His only known son, Berthold of Neuchâtel, became the next count; the family also included other Bertholds who were bishops and were likely brothers or cousins. He modeled his poetry on French poets Folquet de Marselha and Peire Vidal, but his own verses were written in Middle High German.
