Butteryhaugh is a small village in Northumberland, England, located about half a kilometre southeast of Kielder and around 2 miles (3 km) from the Scottish border. Although separate, Kielder is generally considered to include Butteryhaugh. It was planned as the second of five villages to house forestry workers for Kielder Forest, but as forest work became mechanised and fewer workers were needed, the final three villages were never built. Butteryhaugh is in the Hexham parliamentary constituency.
