Casimiro A. Ynares Sr, Memorial National High School
Casimiro A. Ynares Sr. Memorial National High School (CAYSMNHS) is a public high school in Taytay, Rizal, Philippines. It sits on a 4,260-square-meter Rizal Provincial Lot at Hilltop, Cabrera Road, Kaytikling, Barangay Dolores. It started as an annex of Taytay National High School and became an independent school in 2005, named after Casimiro A. Ynares Sr., the father of Rizal governor Casimiro Ynares Jr.
The school serves grades 7 to 12 and teaches in English and Filipino. Its motto is Ang Batang Casimiro, Disiplinado, and its colors are blue, violet and gray. The school offers a focused curriculum in English, Science, Mathematics and ICT. It began the K-12 BEC program in 2012–2013 and planned to implement Senior High School in 2016–2017, prioritizing the Academics strand.
The 4,260-square-meter site was donated by the Rizal Provincial Government through Gov. Casimiro Ynares Jr. Construction of a four-story building with 15 classrooms began in 2004 and the school opened in June 2005, initially operating as an annex of Taytay National High School. It later became independent and has been led by several principals, including Gloria C. Roque (2006) and Dr. Maribeth R. de Dios (2011). The school opened its first Special Education class in 2012–2013 for hearing-impaired students and others with learning disabilities.
Since then, five more buildings were added, and a Ynares-style multi-purpose covered court was opened in 2014. In 2015, CAYSMNHS celebrated its 10th anniversary. The current principal is Virgilio P. Ramos. The school publishes The Echoes and Ang Sipol, and its memorial song is the CAYS Memorial National Hymn.
