Brooklyn Nelson (born 2003 or 2004) is an American actress from Huntington, West Virginia. She started acting at age eight in a local theater production of The Little Mermaid Jr. and made her Broadway debut in 2015 as a small girl swing in Matilda the Musical. In 2017 she joined the Denver tryout of Disney’s Frozen, playing young Elsa. In 2018 she originated the Broadway role of young Elsa, performing with Ayla Schwartz; she left the show in April 2018, and the Broadway cast recording was released in May.

Nelson has also done voice work for English dubs of anime films: Nazuna Oikawa in Fireworks (2017) and Medmel in Maquia: When the Promised Flower Blooms (2018). She appeared in Megan’s Christmas Miracle (2018) opposite Dean Cain.

Off stage, she is the daughter of Tara and Todd Nelson and has a younger sister named Lacey. Growing up in Huntington, she developed an interest in theater after her first role. She attended Village of Barboursville Elementary School and Barboursville Middle School, doing online school while rehearsing Frozen.
