Brian Onyari Tinega (born 24 November 2002) is a Kenyan sprinter who mainly competes in the 400 metres. He won a silver medal for Kenya in the men's 4×400 metres relay at the 2024 African Championships in Douala, Cameroon. In 2025, he earned bronze in the mixed 4×400 metres relay at the World Athletics Relays in Guangzhou.

He also helped the Kenyan 4×400 metres team, alongside Zablon Ekwam, Boniface Mweresa and Kevin Kipkorir, reach the final and secure a place at the Tokyo World Athletics Championships in September 2025, recording the third-fastest time in the qualifying rounds. Tinega won the Kenyan national 400 metres title at the Kip Keino Classic with a best of 45.06 seconds. In June 2025, he ran 44.67 seconds to finish runner-up to George Mutinda at the Kenyan National Championships, a time that qualified for the World Championships.

In July 2025, he was named to Kenya’s team for the individual 400 metres at the World Athletics Championships. He ran on the opening day in the mixed 4×400 metres relay and also competed in the heats of the men’s 400 metres, but did not advance to the semi-finals.
