Leaders of Ovamboland

Ovamboland, also called Ovambo, was a Bantustan, or homeland, for the Ovambo people in South West Africa during apartheid. It later became a second‑tier regional authority within the territory. In lists of leaders, dates shown in italics mean the person continued to hold power in practice after their official term. The Christian Democratic Action for Social Justice (CDA) was one of the groups involved in Ovamboland’s leadership.
