The event was held in Wrocław, Poland, at the Sky Tower, from July 21 to 24. There were 64 competitors from 19 nations.
In women's singles, Laura Buethner of Germany originally won gold but tested positive for a banned substance and was stripped of the medal. Kelly Kulick was awarded gold, Clara Guerrero silver, and Daria Kovalova bronze.
