Faridpur Central Eidgah, also known locally as Chandmari Eidgah Maidan, is the main open space for Eid prayers in Faridpur city, Bangladesh. Every year, the congregational prayers for Eid-ul-Fitr and Eid-ul-Adha are held here. People from all walks of life attend, including the Deputy Commissioner, the Superintendent of Police, senior government and private officials, and other distinguished personalities.

The Eidgah is located in the Chandmari area of the Komlapur neighborhood and has long served as the central Eidgah of the region. On Eid, it is a key gathering place for the Faridpur Muslim community. Little is known about the exact founding of Faridpur Central Eidgah, but Eid prayers have been held here for many decades. Locally it is called Chandmari Eidgah, and it is believed that during British rule this space was used as a military training ground (Chandmari) before becoming an Eidgah. It is currently maintained by the Faridpur District Council and is sometimes referred to as the District Council Eidgah, Chandmari.

The Eidgah is a large rectangular open field surrounded by a low cement boundary wall and shaded by big trees. On the western side, facing the Qibla toward Mecca, there is a permanent mimbar/mihrab where the Imam delivers the Eid sermon. The ground is leveled with soil and sand so thousands of worshippers can stand in neat rows. Media reports say the Eid congregation here attracts a massive crowd each year.

Before Eid prayers, municipal authorities clean the ground, repaint the Qibla-facing wall and mimbar if needed, and mark the prayer rows for proper alignment. For security, gated entrances and doors are used to regulate the crowd on Eid day.
