Bootcfg

Bootcfg is a Windows command used to edit the boot.ini file. It lets you configure, query, or change Boot.ini settings. A similar command also exists in the Recovery Console for repairing or rebuilding boot configurations. Although Windows Vista and later don’t rely on boot.ini to boot, bootcfg is still included to help with older multi-boot setups and troubleshooting from within newer Windows versions. For modifying boot options on Vista and later, Microsoft recommends using BCDEdit. For more details, check the official Microsoft documentation.
