Guto (footballer, born 1964)
Guto, born José Augusto Bagatini on 14 May 1964 in Rio Claro, Brazil, is a former footballer who played as a centre-back. He started with an amateur club, Vasco de Torrinha, and later trained with XV de Jaú, which led to his signing with Flamengo. With Flamengo, he was part of the teams that won the 1986 Campeonato Carioca and the Copa União. He later played in Portugal for O Elvas, Belenenses, Vitória, and Ovarense. Internationally, Guto played for Brazil's under-20 team in 1983, winning the South American Championship and the World Youth Championship, and he also played for Brazil's Olympic team, earning a silver medal at the Caracas Pan American Games in 1983.
