Ajay Bhardwaj
Ajay Bhardwaj (Punjabi: ਅਜੇ ਭਾਰਦਵਾਜ), born 1964, is an Indian-Punjabi documentary filmmaker. He earned a BA Honors in Political Science from the University of Delhi in 1986, an MA in Political Science from Jawaharlal Nehru University, and an MA in Mass Communication from Jamia Millia Islamia. He is pursuing a PhD in Asian Studies at the University of British Columbia in Vancouver. He began his TV career as an assistant director on the preschool show Tarramtoo (1990), and later directed and produced programs for NDTV, Times Television, TV-18 and Eenadu News Channel, including the science show Turning Point hosted by Girish Karnad. Since 1997 he has made documentaries; his first film was Ek Minute Ka Maun about Chandrashekhar Prasad. His notable documentary trilogy on Indian Punjab includes Kitte Mil Ve Mahi, Rabba Hun Kee Kariye, and Milange Babey Ratan De Mele Te. Website: ajaybhardwaj.in
