Agron Llakaj
Agron Llakaj (born 24 April 1960) is an Albanian comedian, producer and television presenter known for hosting Portokalli, Al Pazar and PaPare Night. He was born in Memaliaj and studied at the Academy of Arts in Tirana (1987–1991). He began his career at Memaliaj’s house of culture as a singer and parodist, later becoming famous for his impressions of news anchors, football commentators and famous people. He performed on the Gjirokastër stage for six months and appeared in the TV series Bashkë me Ju. He also featured in programs such as 12 in Hollywood, 12 dances without a Saturday and 12 weeks around fate, and is known for imitating politicians like Sali Berisha, Alfred Moisiu, Rexhep Mejdani and Spartak Ngjela. He appeared on Telebingo from 1996 to 2003 and in 1998 co-directed the TV Klan movie Titaniku. From 2003 to 2010 he was the artistic director, host and actor of Portokalli. He hosted the Albanian version of Who Wants to Be a Millionaire? from 2011 to 2012. Between 2012 and 2019 he created, directed and acted in Al Pazar, and since December 2019 he has been the author and host of Fake Off on Vizion Plus. He has created many humorous characters, such as Xha Temja, Aneja, Jorgaq, Sul, Fiqo, Visho and Patronazhisti. He was awarded Albania’s Grand Master Order by President Bamir Topi. On May 24, 2024, his wife Kostandina died after a battle with cancer.
