Blendi Fevziu (born May 18, 1969, in Tirana) is an Albanian journalist, writer and TV host. He studied literature and Albanian language at the University of Tirana, graduating in 1991, and worked for the university’s student newspaper in 1989. He took part in the 1990–1991 student protests that helped end Albania’s communist rule and co-founded the free newspaper Rilindja Demokratike on January 5, 1991. His TV career began with the political show E Diela Debat on TVSH on August 31, 1997; it moved to Klan Television on September 26, 1998, and from 1999 aired on Thursdays. In 2001 it was renamed Opinion, and since October 2006 it has been shown twice a week. Since 2008, Opinion has aired four times a week (Mondays to Wednesdays at 22:00 and Fridays at 21:00). Fevziu published Enver Hoxha: The Iron Fist of Albania in English in 2016 (I.B. Tauris), with an introduction by Robert Elsie.
