Irfan Bachdim
Irfan Haarys Bachdim, born 11 August 1988 in Amsterdam, Netherlands, is a professional footballer who plays as a winger or attacking midfielder. He has Indonesian nationality and played for the Indonesia national team from 2010 to 2019, earning 42 caps and scoring 13 goals. He started his career in the Netherlands with youth stints at Argon and Ajax, then played for Utrecht and Haarlem.
In 2010 he moved to Indonesia to play for Persema Malang, and over the years he played for clubs in Indonesia, Thailand, and Japan, including Chonburi, Ventforet Kofu, Consadole Sapporo, and Bali United. He became a fan favorite at Bali United and helped the team win the 2019 Liga 1 title. He later played for PSS Sleman, Persis Solo, and Persik Kediri.
Bachdim's father, Noval, is Indonesian from Malang. He is married to Jennifer Kurniawan, and they have three children: Kiyomi, Kenji, and Kiyoji. The family lives in Bali, where they run a clothing line, and Irfan has also been a familiar face in Indonesian advertising.
