Black Science is a creator-owned American science fiction comic series by writer Rick Remender and artist Matteo Scalera, published by Image Comics from November 2013 to September 2019. The 43-issue run follows Grant McKay, a former member of the Anarchist Order of Scientists, and his team and family as they are hurled through dangerous dimensions after sabotage of a device called the Pillar, which lets them jump between realities. The Pillar’s malfunction sends them into random, increasingly hostile dimensions. They must find a way back to their own universe while surviving threats like parasitic fungi, interdimensional conquerors, and alternate versions of themselves.

The story introduces the Eververse—a multiverse of infinite dimensions connected by every choice people make. What lies at the center or beyond is left mysterious, and chaos awaits. The creative team includes Rick Remender (writer) and Matteo Scalera (artist, penciller, and inker), with Dean White as colorist. The first issues sold out at release, and Image Comics planned reprints of several issues due to strong demand.
