Zoukougbeu Department is a department in Haut-Sassandra Region, within Sassandra-Marahoué District in Ivory Coast. It covers 1,580 square kilometers and had a population of 146,537 in 2021, with a density of about 92.7 people per square kilometer. The departmental seat is the town of Zoukougbeu. The department includes four sub-prefectures: Zoukougbeu, Domangbeu, Grégbeu, and Guessabo. Zoukougbeu was created in 2008 by splitting from Daloa Department and was originally part of Haut-Sassandra Region. In 2011, with a reorganization that created districts and redefined regions and departments, Zoukougbeu remained in Haut-Sassandra, now within Sassandra-Marahoué District. The time zone is GMT (UTC+0). The prefect is Bilé Mariame Kouao.
