Suria (radio station)
Suria is a Malay-language private radio station in Malaysia, part of the Star Media Radio Group and owned by Star Media Group Berhad. It first aired on 24 November 2005 and targets modern Malays aged 25–35, engaging listeners through social media. The station features a mix of local favourites, current chart-toppers, and recent Indonesian and English K-pop songs. Suria broadcasts to Peninsular Malaysia and Singapore. As of 2018, it was among the top five Malay-language radio stations. On 9 November 2019, Suria ceased transmission in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. Formerly known as Suria FM, its format includes talk with a mix of contemporary hit and adult contemporary music. It is affiliated with Star Media Radio Group and has 988 FM as a sister station.
