The Bismarck sharp-nosed blind snake (Acutotyphlops subocularis) is a small snake in the Typhlopidae family. It lives in the Bismarck Archipelago and the Solomon Islands. It is listed as Least Concern by the IUCN. Scientific classification: Kingdom Animalia; Phylum Chordata; Class Reptilia; Order Squamata; Suborder Serpentes; Family Typhlopidae; Genus Acutotyphlops; Species subocularis. Binomial name: Acutotyphlops subocularis (Waite, 1897). It has previously been called Typhlops subocularis and Ramphotyphlops subocularis, among other synonyms.
