Birch Gibson

Birch Gibson (c. 1828 – September 10, 1895) was an African American state legislator and local official in Ocala, Florida. He represented Marion County in the Florida House of Representatives during Reconstruction, in 1872, and was elected again in 1873. He also served on the Ocala City Council and as a justice of the peace. He was born in Alabama.
