Glenn is a small, unincorporated community in Kinkaid Township, Jackson County, Illinois, United States. It sits along Illinois Route 3, about 7 miles east-southeast of Rockwood. The community is named for either Walter J. Glenn, the first postmaster, or Robin Glenn, an early settler. Glenn sits at about 384 feet (117 meters) above sea level and uses the 618 area code. It observes Central Time (UTC-6, UTC-5 in summer).
