WKVI and WKVI-FM are local radio stations in Knox, Indiana, owned by Kankakee Valley Broadcasting Company, Inc. WKVI-AM 1520 kHz offers an all-news format with hourly local updates plus ABC News, AP News, state news from Network Indiana, and Accuweather. WKVI-FM 99.3 MHz, branded Vinyl Gold, plays oldies and provides hourly local news, agricultural news, Fox News Radio updates, Accuweather, and coverage of seven area high schools’ sports.

The stations serve the Kankakee Valley area in North Central Indiana, on the southern fringe of the South Bend market, and maintain a website at wkvi.com and an active social media presence.

History and notes: WKVI began broadcasting in 1959. In 2014, the company built WYMR 98.3 FM in Culver, Indiana (MAX 98.3). In September 2022, WKVI-FM switched to the Vinyl Gold oldies format. The AM station continues its all-news programming. WKVI-FM received the Indiana Broadcasters Association Spectrum Award in 2014.
