Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation
Bhavnagar Municipal Corporation (BMC) is the city government body for Bhavnagar, Gujarat. Established in 2004, it covers 52 wards, with each ward represented by a councillor elected every five years. The corporation is led by a Mayor and administered by a Municipal Commissioner. The last elections were held in 2021 and the next are due in 2026. The council meets at Bhavnagar Mahanagar Seva Sadan in Bhavnagar. The BJP holds 44 seats and the INC 8 seats. The official website is www.bmcgujarat.com.
