Yōsuke Takeuchi

Yōsuke Takeuchi (born August 15, 1979, in Tokyo) is a Japanese former figure skater. He began skating in 1983 and retired in 2002. Takeuchi won the bronze medal at the 1999 World Junior Championships and was the Japanese national champion in 1999 and 2002. He competed for Japan at the 2002 Winter Olympics, finishing 22nd. His coach was Takashi Mura, and his programs were choreographed by Tatiana Tarasova and Nikolai Morozov. Today he works as the director of athlete development for the figure skating division of the Japan Skating Federation.
