Jon Toral
Jon Miquel Toral Harper (born 5 February 1995) is a Spanish footballer who plays as an attacking midfielder for Persik Kediri in Indonesia. He was born in Reus, Catalonia, and began playing with his local club UE Barri Santes Creus before joining Barcelona’s academy in 2003. At Barcelona he formed a notable midfield partnership with Sergi Samper before leaving for Arsenal in 2011, a move that also involved Héctor Bellerín.
Toral spent the 2014–15 season on loan at Brentford, then Birmingham City, Granada, and Rangers. After six years with Arsenal without a first-team appearance, he signed for Hull City in August 2017. He later returned to Birmingham City for the 2020–21 season. In 2021 he joined OFI in Greece, where he played until 2024, before moving to Mumbai City FC in India. In January 2026 he left Mumbai City and joined Persik Kediri in Indonesia.
Internationally, Toral has represented Spain at under-17 and under-19 levels. He is also eligible to represent England through his English mother.
