Bhadeya is a rural area in Barachati block of Gaya district, Bihar, India. It lies near the Gulsakari river at about 24.78° N, 84.98° E and is crossed by National Highway 2 and the old road from Gaya to Chota Nagpur. The area includes Bhadeya, Karma, and nearby localities such as Azizabad, Karimgunj, Razagunj, Ansar Nagar, Zahoorabad, Sondiha, Paili, Chhaura Bandh, Bigha, Imamgunj, Gaiwal Karma, Hasanpur and Mananbigha.

Most residents are Pathans, and many people work abroad in the Persian Gulf, sending income home. The climate is tropical, with hot summers (April–June), cool winters (October–February) and the southwest monsoon (July–September). Bhadeya has schools, a library and tutoring centers, including Madarsatul Uloom in Paily, 824220. The population is mostly Sunni Muslim and there are five mosques: Bhadeya Jama Masjid, Bigha Par ki Masjid, Masjid Ali Azizabad, Masjid Aziz, and one at Kata Par; another mosque is under construction in Shamshuddin Nagar.
