Beta-apiosyl-beta-glucosidase
Beta-apiosyl-beta-glucosidase (EC 3.2.1.161) is an enzyme that breaks a specific sugar linkage in some plant compounds called isoflavonoid glycosides. It uses water to remove a disaccharide sugar (apiosyl attached to glucosyl) from an isoflavonoid, yielding a hydroxyisoflavonoid and a glucose-containing sugar.
