Walter Frederic "Mike" Kelly (January 13, 1874 – March 1, 1961) was an American football player, coach in football, basketball, and baseball, and a physician. He played football at Dartmouth in 1895–1896. He began his coaching career in 1897 as the head football coach at the University of Texas at Austin, then served as an assistant there in 1898. He moved to Butler University, where he was the head football coach from 1899 to 1903, the head basketball coach from 1899 to 1903, and the head baseball coach from 1901 to 1905 and again in 1908. His career college coaching records were 10–14 in football, 6–8 in basketball, and 7–21–1 in baseball. While at Butler, he earned a medical degree from Indiana Medical College in 1906 and later worked as a physician in Marion County, Indiana for more than 54 years. He died at his home in Indianapolis on March 1, 1961, at age 87.
