Switzerland competed at the 1928 Summer Olympics in Amsterdam. The Swiss team had 133 athletes (132 men and 1 woman) who took part in 70 events across 15 sports. Swiss athletes won a total of 15 medals: 7 gold, 4 silver and 4 bronze, finishing 6th in the medal rankings. The team included 9 male cyclists and 9 fencers (8 men and 1 woman), as well as 10 weightlifters. Switzerland also fielded a men's field hockey team.
