Ben Perry (footballer)
Benjamin Marshall Perry, born 1 December 2004 in Derby, England, is an English footballer who plays as a defensive or central midfielder for Colchester United, wearing number 4. He is 1.84 m tall.
Perry came through the Nottingham Forest academy from 2014 to 2025, playing in Premier League 2 and the EFL Trophy during the 2023–24 and 2024–25 seasons. On 3 February 2025, he went on loan to Northampton Town in League One for the rest of the season, making his senior debut on 7 February 2025 as a substitute in a 1–0 win against Mansfield Town. He made 17 league appearances for Northampton that season.
On 10 July 2025, Perry joined Colchester United on a three-year contract for an undisclosed fee, after having previously joined them on loan in February 2025. Northampton manager Kevin Nolan praised his versatility in midfield, saying he can sit, go box-to-box, and even push a little further forward thanks to his intelligence, quality, work-rate and tenacity.
