Republican Building (Jinan)
Republican Building (Chinese: 共和楼; pinyin: Gònghé Lóu) is a historic building and former hospital on the Shandong University campus in Jinan, Shandong, China. It was originally part of Cheeloo University’s hospital. The building was funded by the British Baptist Church. Construction started in 1914 and finished in 1915. It was officially opened on September 27, 1915, by Jin Yunpeng, the military governor of Shandong.
