Battifollo is a small town and municipality in the Province of Cuneo, Piedmont, Italy. It lies about 90 kilometers southeast of Turin and 35 kilometers east of Cuneo. The area covers 11.12 square kilometers and sits at 846 meters above sea level. As of April 30, 2017, the population was 252, and residents are called Battifolesi. The mayor is Giovanni Secondo Barberis. The postal code is 12070 and the dialing code is 0174. Battifollo borders Bagnasco, Ceva, Lisio, Nucetto and Scagnello. A local sight is the remains of a castle that was used by French troops as a defensive position in 1796.
