Park Hall, Shetland
Park Hall is an old laird’s house west of the village of Bixter, in Sandsting parish on the Mainland of Shetland, Scotland. It was built around 1900 by a local doctor. The two-storey concrete building is now derelict after being left empty. In the garden there is a Moorish temple that was once used as part of the septic system. At the south entrance there used to be two gate-piers, but today only one remains. Since 1997, visits have shown the house is crumbling: some walls are cracked, the roof is damaged, and much of the pipework and guttering is gone. Park Hall has been a listed building since 26 March 1997 and is owned by Historic Scotland. Coordinates: 60.25722°N, 1.43639°W.
