Batrisodes is a genus of small, ant-loving beetles in the rove beetle family (Staphylinidae). They belong to the subfamily Pselaphinae and are part of the Batrisini group. The genus Batrisodes was named by Reitter in 1882. There are at least 80 described Batrisodes species, with some catalogs listing about 89 species. Notable species include Batrisodes texanus, also known as the Coffin Cave mold beetle, and Batrisodes venustus. Synonym: Batrisodinus.
